This project was actually my first commissioned Custom piece. I was solicited by AF, a co-worker who runs the always amazing blog: Wrestling Entropy, to design and produce the liner notes for her Best of 2005 compilation. Basically she provided the track listing and basic ideas, which allowed me the creative freedom to develop ideas. I was able to return a booklet inspired by her past years work with the Chicago Bird Collision Monitors. All pieces were cut, collated, and assembled by hand. Specific fonts were used to mimic those of a Birder's Field Guide. There is even a hidden puzzle, on every page, that deals with performer's origins. How mysterious! This was one of the most challenging and rewarding projects that I have had the chance to work on thus far. I would like to thank AF for allowing me to partake in this very special opportunity.
